1  COOKING / Dessert / Re: What's Your Favorite Movie Snack? on: October 01, 2007 06:33:24 PM
That looks so good!

I'm a big fan of popcorn, but I really like some non-traditional seasonings.  Most people just do some butter and salt, but I have this salt and vinegar powder that I use.  I have a friend who would sprinkle nutritional yeast and curry powder on his buttered popcorn and it was always REALLY good.

I don't have any really good movie snack recipes--if I'm ever watching movies, I'm knitting!  Can't get my WIPs dirty!

Where do you get the salt and vinegar powder? I have never seen it and it sounds like something I need! Cheesy

As for movie snacks, sometimes I will have popcorn with parmesan cheese on it, or my husband makes some mean nachos!  No matter what I am snacking on though, I have to have a soda with my snack.  Grin

You can order the seasonings from the Kernels website. Kernels is the BEST popcorn stand/store that I've ever found. I *think* they ship to the states, but I'm not really sure. Here's a link, though.

I'm a little late jumping on this bandwagon, but damn. This is awesome. I'll be making them for everyone I know for Christmas! In a few weeks I'm going to my parents place (where the sewing machine and all of my fabric lives) so I'll be making a prototype, which maybe I'll use to sleep well in my new dorm room come the 25th of August Smiley

I'm in Windsor.. so far south that I'm pretty much the northern states. On Glitter the other day I classified myself as living in the Detroit area.. I have found NO craft stores here (aside from Michaels), and I don't even live in the right side of the city for Wal-Mart. All of my craft supplies are from Zellers and Dollarama (aka, the best store ever). I'm feeling the crafty draught.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re:Arm/Wrist Band Purse on: February 02, 2004 07:08:22 PM
I've made about a million of these (minus the arm band) to use as a change purse. I make them to match purses that I give/sell to people..

I love you for having put this up. In the summer I tried (unsuccessfully) to make a square bottomed bag. It was also my first bag with plastic handles.. I almost want to take it apart now to re-make it using this tutorial!
