if you can get a hold of a mother board or any other thing like that, this would be a great idea:

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Okay, so its a little Ballsy on: March 29, 2007 12:37:53 AM
if you dont think he'd get it, write "call me" in small letters on just one ball, so its still straight forward but still subtle.

i agree as well! just because you say he's the "artsy type" and sometimes that can be put off  by aggressiveness.

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 70's curtain bag on: March 24, 2007 05:39:43 PM
i made this purse ages ago (almost a year!), but just recently got around to taking proper pictures of it!
There were a lot of similar purses floating around here awhile ago, because, like those, this was inspired by a purse from TopShop.
well enough talk, here it is!

and a close up

and the little keychain i made to go with it, inspired by one i saw on fredflare.com for $8! i like mine better.

thanks for looking!

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Spartus Camera - bag/purse on: March 19, 2007 06:30:37 PM

this is an amazing idea! i absolutely love it! i'm amazed everyday by this site!
really, this is really cool, what inspired you to make it purse?

I'm not even sure what inspired me in particular.  I was looking over her likes/dislikes and it just hit me that I HAD to go to the antique mall and find a camera to recon.  My fiance & I went scavaging and we ended up finding this one for 5 or 8 dollars.  It was love at first sight. Cheesy

thats one sweet deal, just so you know, you inspired me to rip apart an old polariod super swinger i bought at thrift store a long time ago. its been "on display" since i found out they don't make the film it takes anymore, or if they do, its impossible to find. its pretty much gutted now, just needs a clean! now i have two of my favorite things in one, purses and photography!!
