2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Coheed and Cambria inspired pillow *picture heavy* on: September 01, 2009 04:13:25 PM
Coheeeeeeeeed!! Now I need to make a pillow like this, since the boy and I are HUGE Coheed fans. Although mine will most likely have lyrics from 'Feathers', 'Junesong Provision', 'Light and the Glass', and 'Mother Superior'. XD

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Absolutely insane rainbow patchwork 7 metre circle skirt! on: June 10, 2008 08:22:23 AM
Could you do this with quilting squares? I don't have enough scrap fabric to cover the entire spectrum and I want to make this skirt.
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tutorial: literally, a monster purse! ((reposted, and an apology)) on: April 07, 2007 05:24:34 PM
I have a problem with the D rings as well. I made the loops for them out of fabric and then put the rings in and it would slip to the 'corner' of the ring, which wore the loop out. If I do that again I'm going to sew right under the straight edge of the ring so it doesn't move.

Out of lurking post, by the way. I've since updated Scrumps into a laptop case so he's even squishier now. He also got a mouth upgrade. I'll have to post some pictures soon.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been around, college has been getting in the way of crafting. BUT I'M BACK NOW!! ...hopefully.

Everyone's monster bags are ADORABLE. I love them sooo much. We should definitely have a monster day on Craftster. I'm going to go through the thread now and look at any bags I may have missed.

I have quite a few projects up my sleeve, speaking of monsters. Scrumps, the original monster bag of mine, is getting revamped. There's another bag abot halfway through construction, and a secret project involving the un-used fur from Scrumps. Plus some non-monster related things which I will post up later on.

Rawr.
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: lookie! creative writing final ;; an altered personal anthology book. on: February 24, 2006 09:42:43 AM
'This is the story of a girl
who cried a river and drowned the whole world
and while she looked so sad in photographs I absolutly love her
when she smiles..'

That's the chorus part of the song, which was stuck in my head the ENTIRE project. I think I ended up getting 4 points off in the pictures section because it wasn't as....creative(?) as the other sections, I guess. My scanner was being funky so I couldn't copy the originals so I couldn't cut them up and make a collage of sorts.

I think the next one I make will be for my parents as a gift to them when I graduate or something, full of like baby pictures and whatever. Just to make my mom cry.  Grin <3
