I was recently given a swap angel in a swap I was in. (on December 20th) I think she may be missing in action. I haven't PM'd her yet because I feel wierd about bothering her since she is doing me & the organizer of the swap a favor by offering to craft me something. The organizer already gave her positive feedback too. I would rather just let the whole thing go but I don't think that it's fair for her to be signing up as an angle and then flaking on people. Am I being too pushy? Should I just drop it?

Here's a problem I have been running into with swapping:
It seems like the sign up time is really long compared to the time we have to craft something and send out.
I like to make things that are useful to my partner, so I don't want to start until I am matched with someone and have read their questionaire. Then I only have about two weeks to make my items, which sounds like a lot of time, but if anything comes up or you choose an ambitious project you could end up being late. and I just really hate, hate, hate being late.
In all of the swaps i've been in the i think everyone participating already knew about the swap so we didn't need a two week sign up period.  i think a one week sign up and three weeks to send out is good.
Has anyone else had this problem?

(I'll see if changing the title of this post sparks any interest???) I know this is a way long shot. But are there any other boxers out there who are crafty? Male or female? Although I really doubt there are any male boxers who knit or sew. Just saying that makes me giggle. Anyway, I was thinking of all the crafty things I need for boxing and thought it would be cool to swap with other boxers. i.e. a case/bag for my mouth piece, a bandana for under my head gear for my hair, towels etc. Cool t-shirts maybe..... this could also be open to people who do kickboxing even if it's just aerobic...just a thought. Anyone interested?

i was just reading about the photo swap that was a color theme. I'd love to participate if there is a round 2. I just signed up for my first swap so I can't organize it myself. But if anyone else was interested I would totally be in!
