You also have to remember that, according to physics, if you throw a tennis ball at a wall it has the possibility of passing through the wall.

I do want to try this recipie... it sounds tasty.

I finished my first present! Today I give it a test run, and if all goes well I will post pictures.

minidutchess: 'Crocheting terrorists' is my new favourite phrase. (Glad you finally got your book though.)

I appologize for the waterdamage to the runes... it was my first ever ATC, and I didn't realize the sealer would make the inkpen bleed so much. And... I hope you like bunnies. Tried to make her ears look like the triple moon symbol. Glad she got to you alright.

To everyone who sent to me- I check my mail in about 3 minutes.

Sad I had to cop out.
But that doesn't mean I won't be watching the gallery.

48  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Felted Hook Roll on: November 15, 2006 10:50:14 PM
Wow, that turned out very lovely. I love the colour choice, and the pretty button.

Now I've been meaning to make one of these myself, but I have a query-
If you were to crochet one end of the hook-holding part with a smaller hook, then the middle section with the normal size hook, and the other end section with a larger hook, do you think that the roll would be able to hold thread hooks, 'normal size' hooks, and your P's and Q's?
49  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: clay meets crochet on: November 15, 2006 07:44:57 PM
I love the hooks. Do you find them more comfortable to use with the clay grip?
50  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Possible to shape records into mold thing for a river model? on: November 15, 2006 05:44:56 PM
First- they sell miniature monkeys-in-a-barrel, usually on keychains.

Second... I don't really understand what you intend to use the actual record for (assuming we're talking about vinyl recors, yes?)
Would you be bending them in a U shape/bending them in half to make a trough for the "water"?  Keep in mind that records have holes at the bottom... resin would not stay inside unless the hole was covered.
Also a note on resin- I believe that after a certain thickness/depth is poured, the resin will not cure properly.

If this is only for a short-term project (it sounds like an assignment?) You might consider melt-and-pour gel candlewax as an alternative to resin.

Can you explain a bit more on how you intend to use the records?
