Hi. I just wanted to say that I like yours better than the $98 original. I really like it and at a fraction of the cost!

393  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Ballet Pullover - Teva Durham pattern on: November 04, 2005 05:41:30 PM
I am thinking about making this top with short or 3/4 sleeves.  What yarn did everyone use? Also, I happen to have an extra copy of this issue if anyone wants to buy or trade for it.

What yarn did you use? The pattern says worsted but the yarn she actually used was more like DK. I want to knit one with worsted and would hate to end up with a hat that's too large. Thanks.
395  CLOTHING / Sewing Pattern Reviews / Halloween patterns on: September 30, 2005 10:06:19 AM
Hi. My daughter wants to be a witch for Halloween. I found an old pattern I like made by Simplicity. How is Simplicity for costumes? It's pattern #5937 at this link.
http://www.a1craftpatterns.com/simcost.htm You'll have to scroll down quite a bit. I like the black/pink dress. Add a witch hat and it would be very cute. Does anyone know how old this pattern is? This is the only link I could find to this pattern. I'm pretty new to sewing. How easy are these types of patterns? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. Can anyone tell me how much I will need for this scarf. I will probably use either DK or worsted. Thanks.

400  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / looking to recon a tshirt on: July 21, 2005 05:45:56 PM
Hi. I have a lot (& I mean A LOT) of XL tshirts. I used most of them when I was pregnant. Well, I wear a medium. I need to resize a bunch of shirts. I want them to still be tshirt style- only smaller. Is there is tutorial here somewhere for this? Thanks.
