OOOHHHH!! I love canning!
I haven't tried pickles yet, but my dad & I tackled strawberries & rhubarb last year- we made some DELICIOUS jam!
p.s. Penzey's (a spice company) sells a pickling spice that sounds amazing. I have not tried it, but it has some serious good stuff in it- like yellow & brown mustard seed, allspice, cinnamon, bay leaves, dill seed, cloves, ginger, black peppercorns, star anise, coriander, juniper, mace, cardamom, and crushed red pepper. has anyone tried this?
p.s. how do they taste?
