It's not much, but it holds my scheisse. Plus, the yarn has sparkles in it. I don't need any more than that.

22  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / marilyn chair on: April 11, 2006 06:46:55 PM
This was a plain, unsanded wooden chair when I bought it.
And I give you...a work of art. Ish.

23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / beaded skirt on: April 11, 2006 06:41:02 PM
This old skirt was lying in the basement, an abandoned, unloved orphan. ::criez:: So I spent 3 hours beading a pretty sun on it, and sponging on rays with red, yellow, and gold paint. I'm pretty proud of the result.

I sent a shirt exactly like this to my swap partner for the Hippie Swap, but liked it so much I had to make one for me.  Grin

26  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Fear my Knunchucks! on: February 12, 2006 12:12:42 PM
I had a blank hoodie. This in itself was a problem.

Problem solved. This is a closeup of what I painted on the upper left corner of my hoodie.  Smiley I know it's backwards because it's a reflection, and the pictures are utterly crap, so in case you can't tell, it says "knitting kninja", with the ever-popular skull and (kneedles).

Bow to my awesome kninja skillz.
27  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / clutch purse on: February 12, 2006 12:08:28 PM

28  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / festive necklace on: February 12, 2006 12:06:40 PM
This took me three and a half hours to make... unhooked and stretched out in a straight line it's about six feet long. I love the colors!

29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / green shirt (rather img heavy) on: February 12, 2006 12:00:40 PM
So I had this green shirt in my closet that I hadn't worn in a few years. It was kinda baggy and dorky-looking. I forgot to take a before picture, but it looked exactly like this, only green:

And after adding a funky hem, resizing, cutting thumbholes, and sewing on a big ol' heart, behold! Something I'd actually wear!

30  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / simple green scarf on: February 12, 2006 11:54:15 AM
It's not much, but the yarn reminds me of Oscar the Grouch!
