671  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re:magazine ideas? on: February 01, 2004 12:04:26 PM
OK, don't trust me on this because I've never tried it. But if you wanted to make furniture, you could probably cut pictures and glue them onto the chair (or whatever you're making), then paint over it with clear paint to smooth it out. Just a thought.

I definitely have in idea for this. What  think you should do is get something flat and plain (a lamp with a flat surface, a picture frame, a plate, etc.) and glue with mirror pieces onto it. Then get some of those clear glass marbles with one flat side that you can get at craft stores, and glue them into the spaces. You probably wouldn't want to do this with dishes, since it would be too hard to wash but you could make a lamp, picture frame, flower pot, vase, etc. I love mosaics!

Hi, everyone... this is my first post on this website. Later I'll probably post some stuff I've done, but right now I need ideas. You know those little containers that Bubble Tape comes in? (They look like Pac-man.) I've saved two of them because it looks like I could do something with them... any ideas?
