1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Llamas & a Cat on: July 15, 2010 09:52:18 PM
These are the first toys I've ever designed. I wrote the pattern from start to finish, and after a whole lot of fiddling around (there are 3 blue reject-llamas on the bookshelf next to me), I'm pretty pleased with how these came out.

I feel like I should make teeny tiny blankets to put over the llamas. Hee!
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Lord Monchiki on: June 29, 2010 04:01:47 PM
This is awesome! How much fabric did that take?
3  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: quickie dress that anybody can make - Infinity Dress and link to tutorial on: July 16, 2009 08:15:48 PM

This is my second try. It could be better, but I don't feel weird about wearing about wearing it outside, as long as I have a half-slip on underneath.

It was a $2 fabric from Walmart, but they only had two and a half yards, so I made it an a-line skirt.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: WHAT following yo?! on: April 22, 2008 11:12:43 PM
Ah, so in row two I'm purling into the psso? That clears things up a whole LOT. Thanks!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: WHAT following yo?! on: April 22, 2008 10:57:25 PM
So I'll end up having a YO, ST, YO, ST, etc, etc, right?

But in the next row, I purl 2, then drop the YOs. I don't get how that's supposed to work.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / WHAT following yo?! on: April 22, 2008 10:49:34 PM
I'm trying to start the Saturday market bag, and the first bit of directions is causing me a lot of rage.

Row 1 - k1 *yo, sl1, k1, yo, psso the knit st and following yo* repeat from *

What the heck am I supposed to be psso-ing?!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / print o the wave edging on: December 04, 2007 09:56:06 AM
I'm knitting a print o' the wave (picture on my ravelry, here), but I want to knit an entirely different edging. If I were to do a basic garter egde for 5 or so rows around my rectangle, how would I do the increases to have nice corners (I don't care round or right angles)?
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Fingerless Mitts on: December 01, 2007 12:47:59 PM
I also would like to see how you altered the Endpaper pattern. These look pretty cool.
9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Giftalong (not a gift exchange) on: November 20, 2007 10:46:58 AM
I'm working on a police tape scarf for my sister, which is knitting up pretty fast, though I hope it'll block well when I'm done...

And Print O' The Wave stole (eunny jang) for my mom. Yikes! I'm only on the 4th center repeat...
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: continental v.s. English methods? on: November 10, 2007 11:43:15 AM
I'm coming into knitting from crochet, so continental came much much easier for me than english. I put myself into rages when I try English knitting.
