1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Resin Knitting Needles - TUTORIAL ON PAGE 6! - on: February 12, 2009 01:46:07 PM
Beautiful. I'm in love, but I was wondering how they are for knitting? I have used other needles in the past, soft plastic ones that were hard to use and I didn't like , wood ones that I found the yarn hard to move over (I knit tight :/) I like aluminum ones and the hard plastic ones and I don't have much concern for their weight, I use all sorts of weights and haven't have a problem. So since I would rather buy them than try to make a pair get frustrated and spend more on supplies that to just buy them, I want to know how they knit up? I may get them just because they are so cute and would make a nice addition to my needle collection.
P.S. I read your blurb on Etsy and I am also a self taught lefty knitter who knits "goofy" but its so comfortable I will never change!

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / YAY for my new craft table! and my first post! on: July 05, 2006 03:16:11 PM
My mom bought this sewing table at a estate sale when I was younger and I always wanted it then one day, about 19 years later fate smiled on me and she called me up and offered it up, after she so wonderfully gave me a sewing machine for Christmas! <3 my mom!

seeing as how the table was old and beat up from my many years of crafting on it and it moving around I felt that the table need a facelift, so here it is!

This is the before pic, it has a skirt that goes around it but the snaps are falling apart

After sanding it.. by hand no doubt!

Primed, sealed, and ready to go!

All finished and ready for many more years of use and abuse! I may or may not put the skirt back on. I need to find some snaps. but I saved them just in case! Hope the pics show up and I <3 the way it turned out!

due to the strange weather going on here in Boston, I kept having to move it in and outside...

B. can't figure a way to wear it for me
C. DO NOT want to cut it
D. its too big and heavy to tie back drapes
