1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fabric Estimation? on: October 04, 2012 10:39:25 AM
'Ello!

I am embarking on a tulle skirt project. Specifically, this one: http://media-cache-ec6.pinterest.com/upload/258042253620129183_SpPs7j6B_c.jpg (because I have abundant time.) For  a flat five footer 14/16 gal.

I have made tutus before for babies and small children, but nothing like a long, full skirt like this. Anyone here with a good rough estimation? Or an idea of how I can estimate it? I'm just no bueno, without a pattern or some direction in terms of fabric sizes. Thanks in advance, all you lovely craftsters!  Smiley
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Popped Popcorn Recipes/Ideas on: April 19, 2011 03:30:02 PM
'Ello!

My roommate works at a movie theatre, so we come into possession of a lot of movie popcorn. Question is, anyone have a good recipe idea for already popped popcorn? Popcorn balls? Can I crust popcorn onto meat somehow? Popcorn fight? If you have any good popcorn recipes, please share your secrets. =)

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Fake flower/ivy help! on: July 17, 2009 07:59:15 PM
Long time forum stalker, first time poster haha. I finally finally will have a long-term living arrangement which means I can do some serious interior decorating! Yay!

My bedroom is going to be "forest/garden inspired" and I'd like to drap ivy garlands from my numerous bookshelves and around my curtains/window area. I'm going to need a substantial amount and my question is, does anyone know where the best deal for fake flowers/ivy can be found?  Are the big-chain craft stores the best deal or is there a place online that has some sweet deals that anyone knows of offhand?

Thanks in advance for all your help!
