I'm having some trouble deciding what type of a book to use to make my cookbook...any good ideas for me to run with?  I was thinking of trying to find a blank photo album type scrap book thing, one of the ones with blank pages that slide into a plastic sleeve in the book...but any of those kind I have seen are all about 14x14 square or larger   That would be WAY too large to make into a cookbook 

Actually they do make scrapbooks now that are the standard paper size of 8 1/2x11 size, with the protective sleeves. They seem to be hard to come by though.

haha yeah im STILL working on my wedding scrapbook....the sad thing is we just had our 5th anniversary!! LOL...i find myself having to be in the mood to work on certain albums you know?? anyone else like that??

ugh lets not even start talking about getting caught up on scrapbooking!! im working on like 4 different albums right now lol

Yay!! I'm so glad you like it!! I didnt label the top of the box or the index dividers that way you could personalize them with whatever you want. I'm glad you like the "stuffing" too!! Yes i do have ALOT of patience!! That stuffing took me forever to organize, but I wanted to have all the wonderful recipes from this swap in with my cookbook collection (going on filling up my 3rd bookshelf of Cookbooks)!! And I needed something to hold the recipe box in place so it wouldnt get tossed around so I came up with the idea of making the recipe book the stuffing...anyhow I'm rambling so I'll stop now!! LOL But I'm glad you like it and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my apron!!

yes im anxiously awaiting for my partner to recieve!! the darn Hurricane Gustav and now Hurricane Ike has messed up things for me completely!! I didnt get to take pics of it before I sent it though!! My camera is MIA, we have so much stuff in our house right now because there are 6 other family members living with us because of hurricane damage at their own home. So.....as soon as I find my camera I can take pics of my AWESOME apron I recieved from my awesome swap partner!!

WE HAVE POWER FINALLY!!! LOL... we just returned to our home yesterday. I'm so glad to be home and glad we do not have any severe damage to our home. We now have to worry about Hurricane Ike!! UGHHHH I will be glad when hurricane season is over!! The only thing that was really bad about during the whole evacuation period was that we had to put my lil teacup yorkie to sleep. He started having seizures so we brought him to the local animal emergency hospital. They did all they could to help him, but in the end it wasnt enough. But other than that everything is fine with me!!! Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers!! I really appreciate it!!
