I'm planning to replace my kitchen counters soon, any tips for materials to use/avoid?  

We replaced our old counters (our house was built in 1902, but remodeled sometime later with some hideous yellow countertops) with butcher's block...it was really affordable, not to much to maintain, and you dont have to worry about messing it up if you cut on it, etc
Concrete counters are really in right now too. There's alot they can do as far as staining and all.
....just some suggestions!!

I was bored this weekend and painted some pictures for my new office. I have this love of zebra print and also fleur de lis. They are't very good, Ive just started painting. Hope you like them!!

well, i am almost done scrappin!! i tried something new this time...hopefully my partner will love it!! i have my bought book, and im almost done with my other craft!! yay!! as soon as i finish my paper for a class i'll have alot more time!!
