Well I found out that I'm really not a good chocolate dipper, lol.  The oreos took three cups of chocolate for 30 and my chocolate was really too thick to be using.  I just melted down two bags of hersheys milk chocolate chips.  I didn't have enough to do the marshmallows but I decided to try a few with my last cup of chocolate.  That was REALLY messy and just...not good.  I ended up dipping just one end of some marshmallows in chocolate.  Waiting for those to set.  I think I might buy some more chips and just dip marshamllows half in and then dip them in some graham cracker crumbs.  Yum!

So I'm seeing dip separate then attach, store in a tin up to a week for freshness, could transfer to goodie bags for cuteness.

Oh and since it wasn't my idea I feel weird saying thanks to SeeMe and StrangeFruits haha.

I am making these as little goodies for Christmas.

I saw them at Cracker Barrel and thought wow I could easily make those and get many more for my money!!  So I bought all the supplies tonight...large marshmallows, chocolate sandwich cookies, and milk chocolate.  I have a few questions though...
1. How far ahead of time do you think I should/could make them (as I don't want to wait until the last minute...I'll be making cupcakes then =P)
2. Should I put them in goodie bags or a tin/box?
3. Dip cookie and marshmallow separate and then stick together or attach with a layer of chocolate and then dip?

I'm also asking over at the Bakespace forums =D

8  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Super Easy Awesomely Wicked Pumpkin Muffins With Pic (taste like pumpkin pie) on: October 26, 2007 11:59:16 AM
Is the batter supposed to be thick like muffins?  I had a little trouble getting it into my cupcake liners but the batter tastes delicious and the smell of them baking is dreamy.  I haven't finished the first 12 yet so I dunno about taste or how they will look, lol.

I GOT MY STUFF FROM MADNESS!!!

When I opened the front door to get the mail the box was blocking it, lol.  Thanks stupid postman.  Anyway I just about peed myself!  Here is some eye candy-ness  Grin

This is what I saw when I opened the box.

I totally thought for a second this was a dog shirt and I was all OMG it's way too small!

Hello Kitty immediately HAD to try everything on!

How friggin sweet!  I need to make her a bow to match  Wink

(blurry) Back view.  The skirt is a little long but it's ok...it's the cutest thing ever!

Ooh and look she sent me a skelly!  Hello Kitty thinks he's for her.

Overview of all my loot!  clothes for miss kitty, skelly, largish coin purse shaped zipper bag (I use it for the stuff I usually put in pockets in my purse like lip balm and pill box), cuuuute purple crushed velvet lined pumpkin bag, candyyyy and some little rubber mices.

The mices.  I love the white one and he looks like he might glow in the dark  Shocked

The buttons on the bags...the spider web and candy corn ones are glittery!

Just wanted to show everyone the pics I have of the lolli covers and the cookies I made =D

They're just plain old sugar cookies that I pressed candy corn in to as soon as they left the oven.  Thanks to Martha's Halloween issue!!!  I'm being asked to make more for a family get-together on the 27th =P
