15  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / I need your help! on: July 30, 2005 09:45:03 AM
Hi!

I have ordered my Stitch-it kit today and you just can't understand how desperate I am for it to arrive...anyway...I am hoping that when I get my kit I will remember a lot from the embroidery I did as a child  Tongue.

I already have in mind a project after I have covered the tea-towels in about 100 designs in various colours and combinations: An embroidered net curtain, to prevent my lovely new neighbours seeing in  Roll Eyes.  I have the idea in my mind's eye and it doesn't seem as bad in my imagination than on the computer screen.

However, I have in the past had voile nets, and would love to use it again, but am not convinced that it would be entirely suitable for embroidery.

Could you oh-wise-embroidery-and-craft-gurus help me out? Huh

Thanks!  Grin

I go and get my letters weighed at the post office in the UK...

May take me ten minutes by the time I've queued, etc but I always think the peace of the mind that my letter isn't going to be returned because I didn't stick enough postage on...

I apologise here and now...I don't think my brain was fully engaged when I wrote that rubbish...

Yep is absolutely fine, I will prob be in my new house by then, so will forward you the new address nearer the time.
