1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Usernames: Talk about Crafty! on: July 04, 2005 11:05:58 PM
Mine is inspired by Crazy Horse girls - the famous parisian cabaret.

Vera is the american version of my name Véronique, Vindaloo is what depicted the way I tend to act and talk... and sometimes write... Roll Eyes

well, now I am a bit older than most of you (38 saturday) (18 years old, and 20 years of experiment), I look more quiet and moderate.

I only LOOK.

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sculpey insanity (dissolves plastic!) on: July 04, 2005 08:36:51 AM
yep !  I always store them on a aluminium foil :  just put a foil on bottom of the plastic box. And be careful with vinyl items such  as barbie dolls : even a baked piece of sculpey or fimo can melt vinyl stuff after a while if they are in contact.

6  EUROPE / FRANCE / Re: any french/living in france craftsters? on: July 04, 2005 02:20:38 AM
Hello,
My name is Véronique, I am French and I live in Provence.

I used to live in Paris for 6 years, I know a bunch of crafty shops, especially for fabrics. I think the cheapest ones are those called Toto, there are about 10 or 12 adresses in Paris, and some others in big towns like Rouen, Bordeaux, Marseille...

I'm afraid that you, fellow american crafters, will find our arts and crafts shop small and awfully expensive  Undecided

 Huh

Hi there,

I would like to decorate some plastic fashion doll shoes with Sharpies, but we don't know well this brand here in France... can't find any information, seller's don't know a thing Angry

Could anyone tell me if it bleeds in plastic, fade with light, etc... ?

Thanks sooooo much for helping !
