The first time I had an issue, I emailed Gord Lendrum and he sent me some info on what was wrong with it. I could probably do that again, but I tinkered with it a bit and might have fixed it, at least a little.  Now it's usable at the very least

I'm worried I've knocking something loose on my wheel. The wheel slides a little on the bearing mechanism in a way that I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to. I was having an issue a year or two ago with the wheel wobbling, but I figured out it was because the bolt in the back because slightly loose and the washer and bearing slid forward a little. Now the entire wheel is sliding on the bearing and it's scraping on the pedals.

Does anyone know how to fix this, or can someone take a couple close up pictures of their DT so I can compare and figure out how to fix it?

I was driving around with my partner the other day, turned, and said "I want to make a skirt." Problem is all of my fabric (was) about an hour away in storage. We went to Hobby Lobby and I picked out some fabric, with chiffon recommended by Quinn because - apparently - the polka dots were too "loud." psh.

paneled skirt with tie closure (because I'm no good at zippers...). The chiffon was SO evil to cut and sew. I needed to hem it but it was impossible to do, so I used some iron on interfacing type tape and then zigzagged over it. I want to say it looks better than in the photo but maybe it doesnt. hahah I think it's about time someone invested in a serger... for me. Zigzagged over the edge of the under fabric as the hem. The tie closure is a bit... funny. I made the last panel a bit larger on each piece in order to do a sort of invisible seam but then accidentally added it to the wrong side on one, so sshhhh. No one needs to know.

aaaw, your english seems pretty good to me! I may try to figure out another way to do a closure because I don't think I have any zippers (and I seem to be impossible at sewing them anyway!)

I absolutely LOVE this dress. I plan on sewing this when I get home from work. Is there any way to translate the norwegian? I generally understand whats happening but some of the pictures are a little unclear as to whats being shown

Oh my GOSH, you guys! Do you have any idea how long i've been away from crafting?! I FINALLY have some yarn to post!

I call this yarn spring summer fall winter, otherwise known as St. Bernard, because thats honestly how long it took me to spin it - thats how little time I've had to craft! I have 250 yards plied, with at least 100 more to go, though I already started a scarf with it.

Just a little under worsted weight, I'd say, triple ply. Random wool from sheep shed with mohair throughout

Do you have a local or semi local spinners or weavers guild? Also, your LYS might have leads. If theres a 4h club, try contacting them because they usually have fiber artists who enter competitions.

Also, craigslist is an old standby
