1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Help with partial petal fold. on: December 10, 2005 01:25:56 AM
One of my friends loves crows. So I decided I'd give her some origami crows for Christmas. The problem is, I found this diagram (http://www.fishgoth.com/origami/diagrams/crow.pdf) but can't seem to go through step 6. Can anyone please explain me what do the words "pratially petal forld"?
Thanks in advance. .)
{or maybe someone has another diagram for an origami crow? Any help would be greatly appreciated}
2  COOKING / Dessert / A little dumb question about brownies. on: July 24, 2005 06:39:59 AM
Ok, I've only eaten brownies once (sounds weird, huh?) and it was today and they were baked by me  Grin as I didn't know where else to get them (they aren't sold in shops or cafes or anywhere here obviously). It was awesome, sooo chocolate-y!
And then I read some posts about brownies and I got totally confused. What is a fudgy brownie and what's a cakey one? And how should a brownie taste? (Ok, it's a seriously idiotic question, but hey, I hadn't eaten a brownie until an hour ago!)

And maybe someone would be willing to write their favourite brownie recipe? I think I've found a perfect dessert for the chocolate lover that I am Wink (I followed the recipe I found at http://www.joyofbaking.com/brownies.html, it was super easy. It smelled (and looked) so nice that I couldn't even wait for the brownies to cool properly.)

Any kind of help is really appreciated.
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / MY paper CD cases ;) (w/ pics and TUTORIAL) - 1st topic of mine! on: July 06, 2005 06:19:49 AM
I've just read a thread started by JaneGtar about making paper CD cases and was amazed at how clever her way was Wink I mean, I've been doing everything another way. And just wanted to share.
If anyone's interested, I'll describe the way I do my covers..
BTW, making CD covers is my way of fighting depression. Well, maybe not depression, but rather sadness. It has helped me several times when I felt so down. (sounds weird, huh?) I guess I just concentrate on this and it gets my mind off something that has been worrying me for some time. Well, that's off topic.
