1  Re: Disney Swap Round 4 in The Swap Gallery by Cosmic_Girl on: July 22, 2007 12:24:36 AM
While I'm in a posting mood, I'm also gonna post pics of the items that I made for for my partner. Her favourite movies were Who Framed Roger Rabbit, James & the Giant Peach and Alice in Wonderland. Her fave characters were Piglet, Eeyore, Wendy, Flower and Jessica Rabbit.

So first I made a bunch of magnets with quotes.

Then I made a James & Giant Peach purse out of a plastic VHS case, which I was especially proud of.

pic of the inside lining.

I also painted an image of Jessica Rabbit on a red&black notebook. I also stuck lots of disney stickers on random pages throughout the notebook.

Then I dyed wool for and needlefelted a Piglet. He came out kinda tall, between 11-12", but still cute.

And lastly a t-shirt with a stencil of Flower and a quote. Not too bad for my first stenciling attempt.

I don't know if anyone is still checking this gallery, but I've finally gotten a chance to post pictures of all the cool Disney goodies that Sweet_Sylvia sent me.

Some awesome Haunted Mansion magnets in honor of my favorite Disney ride.

The most adorable little (knitted or crocheted) Cheshire cat.

Side-view.

The coolest hat Ive ever seen, so I can show my inner Cheshire-catness.

And a Robin Hood VHS video box purse. Which proves great minds think alike since I made a VHS box purse for her as well.

3  Re: Gothic swap gallery of darkness and foreboding.... in The Swap Gallery by Cosmic_Girl on: May 15, 2007 05:23:38 PM
So Zero Cool received her package from me last week. And since shes going on holiday she asked me to post some pics of the items for her.

The first item I sent her was a hand painted jewelry/trinkets box.

Inside view. I lined it with velvet, added ribbon hinges, and put a mirror inside.

2nd, is a knitted wire choker

A pearl and green bead choker on black velvet ribbon

And lastly, two ponyfalls made of neon green and black yarn.

Okay, so I finally got my camera back and was able to get pictures of all the goodies that Zero Cool made, so here they are.

All the items together on my bed. I got a black knitted tank top,
two button-up armwarmers in a mottled blue/grey yarn,
2 blue and black necklaces, two pairs of earrings made with buttons,
and a ring with a green stone.

A pic of just the knitted tank.

And here's a pic of me wearing it. I love how what I'm wearing under shows through.

Here are the two necklaces. They're in blue (my fave non-black colour) and black (matched for my starsign).
Unfortunately a few of the strands on the one on the right are unhooked and I'm having a little trouble getting them back on.  Sad

And the earrings and rings in a little box.

Thank you so much for the lovely items Zero Cool. I hope you like the ones I made for you as much as I like these.
