1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Hello Mod Jumper..My First Post!! on: August 07, 2006 05:03:25 PM
So I've been using craftster for inspiration for over a year..so thank you. I've finally gotten into some serious sewing and here is my second clothing project. A cute jumper made of lt weight jersey fabric  (a pain to sew!)
I think it turned out well what do you think. I started an etsy shop for fun, do you think it's worthy of selling??

Check out my store littlegraybird.etsy.com let me know what you think good and bad. I have free shipping on 2 items, so check it out. I love seeing all of  your shops, so much fun!!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / New to jumper/dress making, need help with alterations on: August 01, 2006 12:05:28 PM
I just finished a cute jumper style dress last night..that actually fits!! BUT, it doesn't have much shape, it just kinda hangs and i'd like it to fit the shape of my body a little bit more. Tighter towards my chest and then flares out from there. What's the best way to make such an alteration? It's in 2 pieces: the top piece that come just below my chest and then the body part which need altering. The body piece only has one seam, it's one long piece. What do you suggest to make it not so potato sack looking?? I greatly appreciate it!!
