1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Easy Crafts on: July 26, 2005 03:30:33 PM
Thanks brownsugar13, I love paper crafts of all kind. But I think I like designing them more. LOL I just put up some "paint can covers" today. I try to add new things every couple of weeks or so.

The scrapbook paper was just me trying out some new ways to add textures to graphics, and before I knew it I had all these great papers designed. LOL I'm glad you like them and hope you can use some of them for yourself. Wink

I don't know why the link isn't working for you, I just clicked on it and it works fine. You could try copying and pasting it to your address box and see if that works. Hope you can find me, all my crafts are free.

Yes luvsquilts, It's was a double sided placemat. And I used a bandana for the lining. It was very easy to make after I read Jordys tut. I also used iron on interfacing.

Second, why is it that some bags look pretty rectangular while others seem to flare out more on top? Would it flare more if you cut the sides of your pieces on slight angles?

I did cut my red white and blue bag faired out at the top. And the light blue one is square. Here is the link to my two bags.

They are cut exactly the same way, I just cut the sides of one on a flared out slant instead of straight up and down.

That is very clever! I would never thought to do that. I just got some large eyelets the other day. I'm going to try this on my next purse. THANKS!!!

Wow very pretty!!  Not bad for your first bag.  How is it closed? Is that just a ribbon or is it twine?  I really like this purse. Grin

I think it's awesome just the way it is. But you could get one of those big tassels and hang it from one handle. A red tassel would look great. Red always compliments black and white.

Wow Really cute. I love the purse. It's  a great color and I love the flap. Think I'll make my next one like that. The button on my red white and blue one keeps coming undone. I got some magnetic snaps from walmart yestarday in the marked down section for 50 cents for a two snap set. I bought all 4 packs they had. LOL Grin

PS- Janet you can say "RIGHT ON" any time I post anything. I took it as a compliment. RIGHT ON SISSTA!!! LOL Grin
