I recieved from Kelley "Dreambelle Designs".

I loved everything. She even included a little something for everyone in the house, even the animals. Not in the pictures are the necklace for Katie (she snapped it up quick), the smarties (ate even quicker) and Casey's little "To Cool" charm (stolen from him by Katie).

Thank you so much Kelly, I especially love the leash holder!!!!!!!!!!!

3  New bird bag!!!!! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by cnds1992 on: March 06, 2008 03:39:59 PM
I made this bag for a swap and so enjoyed doing it. I had back surgery and couple of weeks ago so I did all the hand applique and beading while lying in bed. It sure made the time pass by quicker. You can't really see it in the picture but I incorperated seed beads all around the bird and in the flowers at the base of the tree. Hope you like it.

4  Re: I <3 to sew swap! in The Swap Gallery by cnds1992 on: February 22, 2008 05:08:29 AM
I received my wonderful swap package from craftydeb on Tuesday, some of you may not be aware that I had back surgery on Monday so that is why the pics are late.

Well guess what, I love this woman, she sent exactly what I needed and wanted.

First the group pic:

She sent me some great fabrics to use for bags. She didn't realize it but i needed some solids in a bad way. I have been wanting to make some solid bags with cool patterned appliques and the cord and microsuede will be so perfect for that. The brown plaid is going to be perfect for father's day tool belts. The grid is the ideal lining fabric for those small pouches.

She also sent tons and tons of zipper which I just want to shout about. I am not very good at them yet but with all the great ones she sent and the wonderful bag patterns (with zippers) I should have it down in no time flat.

The other two smalls were these cool vintage looking buttons and new pins which I needed. She also sent some new needles for my machine.

The craft was this cool basket. What is even cooler is that my MIL and I are taking a class to learn to make these on March 29 at our local quilt shop!

I just loved this swap and I loved my partner, she was the best, I hope to be paired with her again soon.

She has an additional package coming from me that contains the pattern and two packs of buttons that I forgot to add to the box. I hope she gets it soon.

5  Re: ***I <3 Heart Felt Swap Gallery!*** [ Warning: May cause Jelousy ] in The Swap Gallery by cnds1992 on: October 13, 2005 08:53:28 PM
I received from sporkx71 a few days ago. I am sorry it took so long for me to post. I love all my stuff. I got a cool clutch and two small pouches. I am loving the strawberry!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also got three cool patches. I am having to fight my 11 year old daughter for that clutch. Pink and black are her colors. She plays the electric guitar and has deemed those colors her rock and roll atire.

Thanks so much,
Dana

8  Fabric clock in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by cnds1992 on: July 06, 2005 11:55:11 PM
My Mother-in-law just created a new sewing space in her basement, it is huge, I wish it were mine! She was complaining that she didn't have a clock down there and wanted one to fit in with the sewing decor. Soooooo, I made her this one with some fabric I already had and one of those clock kits from walmart.

9  pajama party bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by cnds1992 on: July 06, 2005 11:51:14 PM
I made this pajama party bag along with a toothbrush/paste bag for my daughter's friend. I fell in love with this fabric so I got enough to make curtains and pillow cases for my daughters. I found these cool nylon leashes at a dollar store, they were 15 feet so I bought two. I used some of one to make the strap for the bag.

10  2 new purses in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by cnds1992 on: July 02, 2005 05:36:35 AM
I am a newbie here. I have been lurking around looking at all the cool things here for a long time. This is my favorite place to lurk and pick up inspiration.

My passion is sewing purses. I rarely ever carry one but I love to sew them, I think because they can be fairly quick and easy and I have had success in that area.

These are my latest two purses. The first one is made from the basic Jordy bag pattern. The second is also jordy with modified handles.
