Hey all, my 21st is coming up and I wanted to have a mad hatter tea party theme. But I need some idea for decorations. Right now all I have is:
 - set up the food table with tea cups
 - string up a deck of cards and hanging it around the place
 - making cup cakes with eat me written on it. I wanted to make drink me things too but I dont know what to do that on. Maybe jello shots?

But I need some more ideas. Anyone have any ideas?

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / bloomers for swimming? on: January 30, 2006 09:27:25 PM
I want to make some bloomers for swimming. But heres a question what material would be suitible for it? Would the usual swim suit material (for the life of me i've forgotten what it's called) be to floppy. I don't really want to try to use cotton or whatnot since it will take to long to dry.

Thanks in advance
3  Calls for Swap Angels / Swap Angel Archive / Organiser Angel - Harajuku Swap on: December 18, 2005 12:53:59 AM
Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. But I'm going away after christmas (29th) and wont be around for a month. I'm the organiser for the Harajuku swap and 4 people still have not sent, but have been communicating well with me. I thought the swap would be all finished before I left but unfortunately I was wrong.
The problem is they have missed the shipping date to get it sent out before christmas. So I will be unable to fix there feedback until I come back in february. I don't like the idea of leaving their feedback as in progress until I come back. So I was wondering if someone would be willing to take over the organiser role for me?

Thanks
Pia

I'm going to the Phillipines at the end of the year and wanted to get it made up. But I would like to buy the fabric here, since I don't really have time to shop for some there.

Thanks in advance

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Painting glass? on: September 24, 2005 08:53:43 AM
I'm not  sure if this belongs here, but I was asked by my craft group to paint some glass christmas ornaments for a fund raising event. I've nver painted on glass before and was wondering if any of you  craftsters could give me some advice and help.
I was wonder what paint would be suitable for this. Would acrylic paints be suitable? Or should I spend some money and go out and buy so glass paint. Also what would I need to do to perpare the surface.

Thanks in advance  Smiley
