I've been looking at all of the circle skirts on here,
and wanted to make one of my own, but I didnt know how it would turn out.
So, I made one for my sister (who's 5) as a test - figuring it wouldnt use as much fabric.

overall, I'm really happy with it. Now I'm going to make one for myself!
The best part is that it only took me about 45 min/1 hour to make.

okay, so today was the last day of school, and we were cleaning out our lockers,
and my friend was about to THROW AWAY this lamp she made in shop class.

well, i told her i'd take it off her hands  i mean, cmon, free lamp!

but basically, its really plain - i want to decorate it. i was thinking decopauge or paint??
tell me your ideas.

well, my friend and I took our totes to school, and 7 kids + one teacher (who wanted 5) ordered some.

i saw this dress pattern on ebay and fell in love with it.
i really want to make one, but i cant find the pattern anymore 
it looks simple enough - does anyone have any suggestions on how i could make it?

i needed [okay, wanted] a new bag for school.
so, two hours 2 yards of fabric and a zipper later, i came up with this.
its a basic tote, with three pockets inside [zipper pkt, pencil pkt, cell pkt]

im really happy with it, especially this inside 
comments always make me happy

so we were cleaning out the basement, and i noticed an old bulliten board in the trash pile.
well, it looked perfectly usable, just a little old. so i spruced it up 


i painted the entire board black, then hot glued citrus colored buttons around the edges.
(please excuse the lame things on it - i just slapped some stuff on for the effect)




to hold the items ON my new bulliten board, i made matching button pushpins 
(this is only a few - i tried placing them so you could see the front & backs)




and WALA! there you have it.

okay so i know sesame street is intended for toddlers,
but i couldnt resist this fabric - so i made it into a bag.


here's the full view - i used yellow ribbon for the straps

the inside of the purse is lined with the same color yellow as the straps,
and is complete with a pocket for my junk + cell phone.

anyway, i made this sundress for my little sister [who is five]
i started out using a pattern, but it got too confusing so i kind of made it my own

i made this bag for my best friend
it's a pretty basic hobo bag, and i kind of made up the pattern as i went
overall, im happy with how it turned out
