1  Where to find kawaii Japanese fabrics in the U.S.? in Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions by XOcrazy4uXO on: February 23, 2008 10:17:12 PM
I've been trying to locate some cute, Japanese fabrics, such as these:

in the United States. I've checked out reprodepot.com, but currently they don't have quite what I'm looking for. Do any of you have any other places I could possibly find them at? Thanks so much, and sorry if this has been posted before!

2  Oh, just another zippered pouch.. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by XOcrazy4uXO on: August 07, 2007 02:07:43 PM
I've made a few zippered pouches (using e.r.i.k.a.'s lovely tutorial on here), but this is the first one that I'm actually proud of. I'm finally getting the zipper right.

Made from some cotton fabric I found at Jo-Ann's last year, complete with a removable teal fabric covered button!

And, while I'm posting, an owl pin I've been working on -

He's not quite finished yet, though  Wink

3  lots of bobby pins! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by XOcrazy4uXO on: October 27, 2006 07:06:48 PM
I made these for a craft fair. The first eight are "holiday" themed - red, white, and green. Mostly buttons.

These next eight are made from clear glass marbles and random magazine clippings

Smiley Comments always appreciated!

4  Brown/teal dot bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by XOcrazy4uXO on: August 02, 2006 03:53:35 PM
I've been dying to make a YakPak bag for a long time now, and when I saw the recent tutorial on Craftster (yellow goodbye bag), I knew I had to make one. I used two cloth napkins from Target for the outside, and the straps are from an old tank.

The bottom looks lopsided, but it's the pleats.

Feedback appreciated! Cheesy

5  Re: Sea Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by XOcrazy4uXO on: July 03, 2006 04:45:51 PM
I recieved from offnlalaland54 a few days ago and never got around to posting pictures, but here they are!
I want to say first, though, that swapping with Lauren was awesome - this was my first real swap (my other was a pen pal swap) and Lauren and I got along well and we both like our packages! So thank you Lauren for this amazing package!

All together - she sent me a tote, cd holder, wooden steering wheel, anchor shoes, stickers, and a shirt!

Close-up of the jellyfish tote, which I'm taking with me to Europe this week!

Matching jellyfish cd holder (this is my favorite - I think its awesome how the holder is the exact shape of a jellyfish  Cheesy )

And here are the adorable anchor shoes she sent (they say "AHOY MATEY" when together)

Thank you so much  Cheesy

I made this dress to take with me to Europe in a couple of weeks.
It has a halter top, gathered skirt, waistband, and my favorite part - two hidden pockets!

7  four brown&pink pattern totes - lots of imgs in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by XOcrazy4uXO on: June 15, 2006 06:13:02 PM
All of these totes were ordered by a teacher to give as gifts to her friends.
She picked out the fabric, gave them to my friend and I and told us to go crazy.
This is what we came up with. All totes have a zipper pocket (not pictured) and a three-pkt pocket (pictured)
Click the links for bigger pictures.

8  Crafting Help/Ideas/Projects/Tutorial Website - Help with name in Discussion and Questions by XOcrazy4uXO on: June 09, 2006 08:01:57 PM
I'm creating a website (nothing big - just one on freewebs.com) for my finished projects, tutorials I will be making, patterns I've made, ext. for people to use.

BUT I NEED A NAME FOR MY WEBSITE!

I want it to be unique, and I would like vintage to be incorporated somehow, because that's going to be the theme of the site. Here's the banner I plan on using - the name would go in the middle:

PLEASE help me - it would be greatly appreciated!

9  Cute Cutout Handle Clutch! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by XOcrazy4uXO on: June 05, 2006 11:38:31 AM
Inspired by the cutout handle bags here on Craftster, I made a cutout handle clutch.
The outside is a vintage floral fabric and the inside is cream. It is closed by a button and elastic strap.
It's about 12 inches wide at its widest point, and about 7 inches tall.

10  Re: Not Your Grammy's Pincushion Swap ROUND 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by XOcrazy4uXO on: May 30, 2006 08:56:22 PM
Ok so my partner Tanya (Pink_Dinosaur) posted that she recieved her pincushions today,
and since I took pictures before I sent them, I'll post them for her!

We decided to send each other two pincushions. This is what I made:

1) Crayon pincushion (I saw in her blog that she loved to color  Cheesy )

2) Star pincushion. The "T" is obviously for Tanya, and on the bottom there is a large magnet for
    A: easy pin cleanup
B: to hang the cushion on something magnetic (such as a dry erase board) so she doesnt lose it

I'm so glad you liked them Tanya - I enjoyed making them  Cheesy
