This one is going to be a Christmas present for a friend who normally only wears simple black bags. I didn't want to make something too colorful, but when I saw this fabric in the store I just had to buy it. I have no idea what it is, it feels like suede and has embroidered flowers and leaves in brownish/yellowish thread.

Is it too flashy for someone who is commited to classic back?

I taught myself how to knit only a couple of weeks ago and these are the first presentable things my hands produced.
The hat was done on straight needles, the edges are sewn together. It 's a little too big for my head - guess I'll have to resew the edges. Or learn all about gauge. And how to use circular needles.

OK, so it's not all pink. But mostly pink.
I followed the Pleated Tote Bag tutorial found here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=49030.0
The second one is just a basic jordy.

I made myself a big beach bag that can hold my equally big beach towel. Due to lack of careful thinking on my part and me totally ignoring the golden rule - measure twice, cut once (or something along those lines) - it turned out HUGE! But still fully useable.

So I'm relatively new to polymer clay and I decided to practice by making some canes. Here are my orange cane neckace and bracelet.

And after seeing all the cute fruit you guys make, I thought it would be a good idea to have every kind of fruit out there as earrings. I started with strawberries and sort of stopped there...

Blue flowers on a pale purple shirt. I think those are hibiscus  flowers, but don't hold me to it. I found the stencil on stencilry, modified it a bit.

So I've been messing with Fimo this weekend and this is what I got. The earrings are red and pearl fimo cubes, the bracelet is red and white.






And a pendant, also fimo. I stamped the leaf into black clay, baked it, painted it with silver acrylics and varnished it .

So I've been making necklaces when I'm supposed to be studying for exams. This one turned out best.

Introducing my latest creation... The images are Kurt Halsey, I got both stencils from stencilry (many thanks). I used plain printer paper and fabric paint for the shirt, acrylic paint for the tote bag below.
