Thanks, guys!

I like the alignment, too. It's kind of like a shadow. A grumpy shadow.

LOL, grumpy shadow. Well, if you put it like that I guess I'll just have to accept it  Cheesy

The Smurfs. Man, I loved that cartoon.

I recently sewed this dishtowel out of aida cloth and stitched my favorite Smurf on it. It's Grouchy. Or Mrgud, as we call him in Croatia.

Here he is expressing his (and my) opinion of dishes. Can you guess what he's saying?  Grin

He's done on 22count aida cloth, one strand of floss. Now that I look at it, I probably should have centered the phrase, instead of this...right alignment?

Blogged here.

As a Firefly fan myself, I totally dig this  Grin Great job!

Little River Wink is going to be the awesomest baby in the 'verse while wearing this.

I totally have those mushroom transfers from a long time ago. Or rather, my mother has them. Holy crap, I've never seen them anywhere else before! They existed before I even did...

I chose the mushrooms because I liked the vintage feeling of it. I'm a sucker for such patterns, they old look cute to me.

She's adorable, lovely choice of image. Your stitching looks great, especially the satin stitch strawberry.

Thanks everyone!
I've officially given up on metallic thread. Too bad because it's so pretty. But the shine is just not worth all the hassle.

I haven't posted anything on Craftster in ages, so I thought I'd rectify this with some of my latest embroidery.

The elephant is a pile of flesh from So september. I colored it in with crayons after embroidering. Should have done it before.

Vintage pile of flesh from doe-c-doe. This was my first time filling in anything with stitches. It took forever.

pile of flesh from the Sublime Stitching Craft Pad. Done in DMC Light Effects. I didn't really like working with this thread - it's metallic and coarse, and rough, it separates and tangles. Basically a pain in every way.
