My friend likes U2, so I made her a little Edge doll.
I based him on Nerdigurumi's Link pattern. His arms and legs are stuffed with pipe cleaners, so they're bendable. Sort of.
I even made him a little felt guitar, with a toothpick for the guitar... um, handle? Neck? Can you tell I have no knowledge of musical instruments whatsoever?

I'm going to re-watch it all this summer, when I go on vacation from work. I just hope I'll be able to enjoy the earlier seasons without thinking about The Ens.

I watched all six seasons, so I hope you don't think me obtuse.... but could you explain what the first, fifth, and sixth symbol are?

The first symbol is the logo for Oceanic Airlines (Oceanic flight 815), fifth is the Ankh thingy that can be seen on the giant statue (while it was still standing) and in Hurley's guitar case.
The sixth is the bottle of wine that Jacob shares with Richard, and later with the Man in Black. Jacob uses the wine bottle to describe the Island to Richard.
