Here's my favorite handmade scarf. It's a simple K1P1 rib out of leftover yarn on size 9 needles. I found this super cute whale in a bag of random patches at a thrift store and simply sewed it onto the finished scarf.

This is my first successful ribbing project. For a long time, my scarves were ending up as long tubes because the sides were rolling. At the time, I only knew the stockinette stitch (sp?) so when I discovered the seed stitch and once I embraced the idea of ribbing, my scarves have been nice and flat ever since!  

Here's a dress that I made from a bedsheet that I found at the Goodwill. Super comfy and soft, very unique print, and way cheap (I think I only paid $1 for a twin-sized bed's worth of fabric!)
