Thanks Distracting 1 and DaisyAlly. All of the nice comments make me glad I started this very addictive hobby(?) I really enjoy the challenge, not to mention the fact that I hate to waste anything and this is going to help a lot in that area.

This is my latest project. Right now it is on the table waiting to be pinned. It will have a green and white stripe back with binding to match. I will post another photo when it is finished.I hope you like.

Quilting is the way I went. At first I was giving the scraps to a quilter friend and taking scraps to the thrift store. Then I made my first quilt and I was hooked. There are a lot of free and easy patterns on the internet.
