I am SO excited about this. I've been wanting to try journal/book making for a while and yesterday I bought one of those things that your can poke holes through paper with (it looks like a pen...can someone please tell me the proper name for it?) Anyway, I made this little book this morning. It's not perfect but I'm reallllly proud.

The back...how are you supposed to tie off the ends? I didn't know what to do so I just knotted it twice and tied a bow.

Close up of the stitching...you can barely see the thread!

And some messy corners. Anyone have any tips on how to make them less messy and more finished looking? I made the covers by Mod Podging paper to pieces of paperboard. Next time I think I'll try my double-stick tape because it's less messy and holds better than Mod Podge. Any other advice is greatly appreciated!
