101  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / advice for a blanket? on: August 07, 2005 07:47:58 PM
Ok, so I'm looking for some advice. I promised a friend that I'd make them a blanket, but it has been a much longer project than anticipated. Instead of a month or so, it's been over 2, and it's only like a third done (I'm talking 3 hours for every inch of progress). Does anyone have a suggestion for a quicker pattern? I'm just looking for something that I can finish in a reasonable time frame...
Help!
Thanks!

What I have always heard is that 2g is as big as your ears can be stretched without them looking crazy bad when you shrink them back down again. Of course, I ignored that once I got that big and now I'm at 00. Oh well, thats just a decision I'll have to live with in old age, right? Smiley

I don't know if they have the tasteful side you're looking for, but there's some good pics in there. If I can find a digital camera, I'll get a picture of my own ears for you, because I think they look really nice, and I even have a "respectable" job and such with them.
