I am not a high-tech craftster. My craftiness is limited to making stretchy seed-bead bracelets and sometimes necklaces, with either elastic string or regular thread. I know it's very boring, but the color schemes are nice, so I'd like to think that makes up for the lack of originality/hard-ness.
Anyways. The problem is, I have no idea how to tie the thread when I am done with a bracelet/necklace so the knot does not show. I want the knot to be sturdy, so I put a dab of hot glue on it, but it is also really ugly and kind of makes the necklace less pretty, I think.
So, if anyone knows how to do an efficient but invisible knot to tie off a piece of jewelry, I would really, really appreciate it. Remember I need to tie off stretchy thread, also.
I have this plain white five gallon bucket that I got for a Pioneer Trek and basically never used again. I think it would be really cool if I decorated it and used it as a trash can. But, I need your ideas on how to decorate it! Please post your suggestions.
Hey, everyone. I have a ton of seed beads and elastic, but not very many ideas, and no money. I was hoping to use these resources to start a small business and make some cash off of it. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I thought maybe I could make bracelets, but I'm not sure. Please help!
Hey! I have tons of beads and elastic from a project I was working on earlier. I was just wondering, using only the supplies I have, does anyone have any idea what I could make and sell to my friends to make some cash?
My friend is turning fifteen in a few weeks, and I want to get a leg up on her birthday present this year. She's an avid dancer, her favorite color is purple, and she's kind of a fashionista, too. Any ideas?
Okay, here is the situation: I need a way to make money. I'm only 14. My town is fairly small, so there's no where I could get a job. I thought that I could make cheap, easy, but funky crafts and sell them to my friends.
