11  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Pirates vs. Ninjas Swap Round 2? on: August 04, 2007 08:46:50 AM
I missed Round One, and I would absolutely love to do this! Who's with me?

12  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / My Favorite Musical Swap? on: August 02, 2007 12:21:28 PM
For all of us who love a good musical or two! This would be fun, I think. Every person could give five musicals that they really like (at least two would have to be musicals that have a movie made out of them, for those of us who don't have any theatres nearby Smiley), and five of their favorite songs from those musicals, and get some crafty greatness!

What do you guys think? I wouldn't mind receiving some Hairspray, Singin' in the Rain, Wicked, and Moulin Rouge! stuff myself.
13  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Stephen King Swap? on: July 26, 2007 11:32:26 AM

14  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / The Sea Witch Herself! on: July 08, 2007 07:02:09 PM
After a long hiatus of not making any of my Disney figurines, I jumped back on that wagon and made Ursula, my first villain!

The hardest part was her hair ... I'm still not 100% satisfied it (of course, I'm never 100% satisfied, so ... Smiley). Her tentacles were really fun to make but they keep breaking off! Three of them have broken off so far. Stupid cheap Sculpey. Thank goodness for superglue.

Here is my entire collection of Disney cool cats:

Next up, I'm torn between Captain Hook and Mary Poppins ...

Comments would make my day!
15  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / ATC Container Swap on: July 04, 2007 03:54:16 PM
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to lose my ATCs. I've been meaning to get around to making a container for them, and then I just realized -- it would be a cool swap idea!

Does anyone have any comments? Has this already been done before?
16  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Disney Figurines -- Updated with more Pictures! on: June 07, 2007 01:52:44 PM
I made these for my cousin who loves Alice in Wonderland.

The picture is not very accurate. The paint really isn't that uneven. (I'm going to check and see if my cousin has a better photo). The Cheshire Cat's face got all winky wonky and pinkish from the spray paint, I think, but other than that I like how they turned out. I'm thinking about doing a whole buncha series! Like Disney Princesses, Disney heroes, Disney animals, et cetera (Because I am a freak like that, hahahahaha.)

Comments and constructive criticism would absolutely make my day!
17  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / My first attempt at a stuffie did not go so well. on: May 27, 2007 08:44:16 AM
Introducing Vomit, the piece-of-crap stuffie!

I made him last night/earlymorning in a rush because I wanted to finish at least one stuffie. Yeah. Obviously, that did not work out.

Oh well. He'll make a good pincushion.

18  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / My first attempt at earrings! on: April 26, 2007 08:46:56 PM

Inspired in part by Disney's Robin Hood.

Thoughts?
19  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Treble Clef Necklaces on: March 25, 2007 09:05:46 PM
So, inspiration struck today in the form of treble clef necklaces.

I'm considering these two necklaces "rough drafts", because I was way too impatient with them and didn't do my best. But I like the idea a lot, so, when I have more time, I'm going to try to make ones that are a bit more professional looking.

Both of them. One is for my piano teacher (who just had a baby), the other is for me.

On my next go-around, I want to even out all the lumps.

This is actually more light blue than white, but you can't tell from the picture.
20  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / My New Boyfriend on: March 24, 2007 11:05:01 PM
Also, my first completely painted Sculpey project. And my first posted project on Craftster! Yay!

Sorry for the blurry pictures. And also, he's kind of sloppily painted. And there are a million more complaints about him. Oh, well.

(His name is Rafael)

The pirate king.

I was going for a fedora, like Frank Sinatra. I failed. Oh, well.

Hat-less.

Thanks for looking!
