Okay, folks.

So tomorrow is our school's annual girl's choice dance, Morp (Like prom backwards!). Basically the girls ask the guys and instead of wearing matching formal wear, everyone wears matching t-shirts!

This year I screwed up my courage and asked a guy I've wanted to talk to for a long time, who is so painfully shy and a wee bit nerdy (no worries, I am too). He said yes (yay!), so I decided I wanted to make it his best Morp ever! So, a great Morp is started by... great t-shirts!

Anyboo. I decided to paint some of my own t-shirts, since I have painted t-shirts before and that was a good way to personalize them, etc. And I really like to doodle and such, and I'm always doodling hybrid creatures, and these two animals are my creations, and anyway... let's stop dawdling here...

I hope he likes them. Maybe I'll be able to get action shots tomorrow, since that is the day of the dance!

The requirements for this swap are one large, one medium, and one-two small items. If you want to do extra, that's totally fine and encouraged. I was just kicking this idea around and wondering if anyone else was interested...
I was thinking a swap done in the style of the Fill a Box Supplies Swap, only the supplies you send are crafty recycled "junk" that you know things can be done with, you just don't know what to do. For example, bottle caps, prescription medecine bottles (I would love to get my hands on some of these!), strips of plastic that someone could melt into beads, various saved plastic containers (empty peanut butter jars, mayonnaise jars), strips of salvaged fabric, old torn jeans, used-up gift cards, old magazines, et cetera. I am a pack rat, I save everything, but I  would love to de-stash a little and also get some fresh material!
Anyone interested?

Hey y'all! A LONG while back I saw a t-shirt swap going on. It was before I was into swaps/painting t-shirts, so I thought nothing much of it. But not a t-shirt swap sounds like a lot of fun! The main idea is just swapping painted/embellished t-shirts based on your partners likes/dislikes. You could make up to five t-shirts, and you'll be paired with your partner based on how many t-shirts both of you were willing to make. You would also give seven or eight themes for your partner to pick from to make a t-shirt based on.

Does that make any sense? Anyone in?

Who doesn't love fairy tales? Communists, that's who.

Wouldn't this be fun? And think of the possibilities!

(This may have already been done... I'm not so sure.)

You know you love it ... would anyone be interested in another magical Disney swap? I just can't get enough of these things!

I don't know if this has been done or not. I know that there's been a Classic Movie Musical swap, but this would be an all-genres-inclusive swap.

I'm thinking Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, The Big Sleep, Double Indemnity, et cetera.
