My husband doesn't sleep well and watches this - so of course I started watching it too. Love the art work. This could be very cool.

Yes - we sold our horses a few years back (not enough time in the day for everything) and I do miss them - this would be great.

You kown this could still work - I just like this idea - I think if we just did a bit of a on-line seach then we would know what zone our seeds would work for and label so people would know how to plant their seeds

for exp - I'm zone Zone: 7B

good site for that info
http://www.garden.org/zipzone/index.php

so if I get seeds that are only good to zone 9 insead of planting outside I could just grow them in a pot. Or if the seeds just won't work we may need to buy seeds that would work in the zone of our swap person. seeds are cheap - the main thing would be the packet that you would be sending them in.

What ya think?

Goatgoddess, I never wouldda guessed that these were your first ATCs...I got one of yours and it is beautiful!

Thank you - I learned a bunch from this - like I need to put my backing and front paper on togeather and then trim <G> I had the fronts pretty much the way I wanted and then did the backs and had to try to retrim all over again  Tongue
glad you liked the one I sent you. I love all of the ones I got. And your Humphrey Bogart quote was so cool went with your design so perfectly. I never think of things like that. But I might now with all the wonderful ideas flowing around <G>

W :oW! There's been so much neat stuff coming out in the past day! The embroidered Potterpuff, the book-holder, the knitting-pensieve, the Wood t-shirt...the abundance of those gosh-darn adorable Pygmy Puffs! Where does one begin? Good job guys, you're truly inspiring Grin!

Boy you said it - love all of neat craftie items everyone made!

Since I was a bit late sending my package to DrunkKitty, she won't get to open it up until the beginning of November because she's on vacation. But she said that she won't have web access either, so I should go ahead and post pics so everyone else can see what I sent.

My favorite piece I made for the swap, an embroidered Harry Potter Puff. It took my about a week and a half of embroidering during my 30 minute lunch break and for about 1 hour each night.  He turned out so well! DrunkKitty is a sewer and though I can sew, I'm not very good, so I just sent her a piece of raw material with Harry embroidered on it, I figured she could get better use out of it. I'm glad I did after receiving a tote bag from her that exceeds what I can do even when I  try my very hardest.

Gosh how cute - love it.

Somehow they all came out different sizes - new to photobucket so I'm sure it's something I'm not doing right <G>
But anywho - looks like these posts are staying - thanks again everyone - love them - my very first set of ATC's and I learned that I need a title and to put more info on my cards  Wink
