yeah, the first hat was kind of a prototype, and I've made another longer one too to see if I liked that better. I bought some cotton yarn the other day so I can make a better hat.
I will do that later. I'm at work now. I'm so sad though! It's so disappointing when you waited so long to get something you wanted and then have it eaten up. I don't even know why my weird cat eats things, thats what dogs are supposed to do!
about how much money did it cost to make this blanket? I really want to make it but I'm not sure I want to invest a lot in buying tons of yarn. Also, is it hard to sew the granny squares together?
My cat likes to eat purses. Luckilly he's only gotten to my cheap ones, but I have a really nice coach bag that I saved up for and I accidently left it within kitty reach last night and came home to a mangled strap. I cried for about half an hour and then calmed down. I thought I would be able to order a replacement strap from coach but they said not for my specific bag. Does anyone have an idea of how I could fix this?
wow, i did a search for amigurumi because I had no idea what it was. Wow! I'm impressed and happy that I am learning crochet, because these things are so cute and awesome! When you find good free patterns, let me know!
Wow, dexterchick, thats EXACTLY what I want to make!! Yours looks awesome and I like the colors you used. I will try out your pattern soon, definitely!
Ok, dexterchick, thats what I thought. I just got Happy Hooker so I made a circle like you are talking about last night so I get the idea. One more question though, the rows nearest the edge are single crochet right? so are the rows farther up (like where the yellow stripe is) double crochet, or is that a different stitch? I know I could just experiment, but it seems much easier to ask people who know what they're doing. I'm glad you like the hat too! My boyfriend has dreads and has many tams I like to steal, but these hats aren't as poofy as tams so I think i might like it even better. I am also tickled that you called my head a melon, hehe
