1  FO: Misty Garden in Knitting: Completed Projects by linda_t on: August 20, 2007 10:25:52 PM
Last night I finished Misty Garden from Scarf Style. I love this book, this is my third project from it!
My Misty Garden is made in M&K Mohair, 50 g of each colour. It's not very long, about a meter I think. The yarn is quite itchy, if anyone have some tips on how to make it less itchy it would be very welcome!

Wow, great job. I am also knitting my first pair of socks. I'm using the toe-up pattern from Knitty. Here's my progress so far, I've done about half of the foot:

3  Fir cone shawl in Knitting: Completed Projects by linda_t on: August 14, 2007 01:00:28 AM

This is one of many versions of the fir cone pattern. It's made from a lovely green silk yarn that I bought from Etsy. The shawl, as you can see, is HUGE, which I didn't realise until blocking. The pattern is worked top-down so the rows keep getting shorter, this is nice at the end when you feel you've been knitting on it forever  Wink

The pattern I used is in Swedish and can be found here, but if you google "fir cone shawl" I'm sure you will find a very similar pattern in English.

Here is my latest FO, Backyard Leaves from Scarf Style. I loved knitting it and I am very pleased with the result! I used Araucunia Nature Wool, which is my favourite wool. Thanks for looking!

5  FO: Black mittens with hearts in Knitting: Completed Projects by linda_t on: October 03, 2006 02:57:45 AM
Here's my first try at mittens. They're made of 100 % wool so I hope they will warm my hands this winter and fall!
I must say I really enjoyed making them, and it's so nice with small project that you can just tuck away when you're not working on it.
To make them a little more fun a embroidered a heart in cross stitch on each of them.

And last but not least an action shot!

6  Wavy! in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by linda_t on: September 26, 2006 04:28:20 AM
Here's my wavy from SnB nation. It'll be a nice and cosy scarf this winter I think. I made mine in just one color to go with my black winter jacket.

9  Re: TUTORIAL: Make a Lined Zippered Pouch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by linda_t on: April 03, 2006 09:39:22 AM
Here's my very first zipper pouch. It's not quite straight but I'm pleased, and a really like the fabric! I plan using it for my makeup. The flower is made from felt and the middle circle is slightly stuffed to make it more 3 dimensional.
