The satin ribbon binding kind of kicked my butt because I didn't really have enough so the corners look pretty icky, but its for a baby. It won't notice right?

Being home from college for the holidays yields a great deal of creation. I really like this pattern. I kind of messed my ribbing a bit but thats just sort of what I do.

 You know those blue and white dishes that people collect? I'm sure there is a name for them that I've never learned. Well, my sister asked me to make her a quilt and when I asked what she wanted it to look like she said I should use those for inspiration. This is what I came up with.



This is just the almost finished stage. I forgot to photograph it once I was done. But, when my sister sends me a picture of the completed product I will post it here.
