That's such a cool idea, destroyed_sweater. I also LIKE the peace sign- it makes it look 3D almost. At least like it has a little depth.

I heart tattoos, but I got one for my 16th birthday and am not *allowed* to get anymore until I turn 18. That being said, my mom thinks it's fine as long as my dad doesn't find out.

I'm going to Europe over Spring Break, and I'm thinking about getting one over there. The only place I ocule think of where another tattoo wouldn't show would be on my side, where a bra or bathing suit would cover it. I wanted to get "Carpe Diem" in cursive, but I'm not sure. Does that sound weird to anyone?

edit to say: I also want to get two swallows in between my shoulder blades that hold a banner that says "Randy & Lyn." You know. Cuz those are the parents. And I also want to get the Mily Way done diagonally from my left hip to my right shoulder, on my back.

I spent hooouurrsss on this amazing messenger bag once. It had a laminated picture of the evil lady from Sleeping Beauty, and I love it. Unfortunately, I was shopping one day when the strap pulled out from where it had been taped inside the bag. This could be fixed by simply sewing the straps in place, but I just thought I'd warn you.

That's a crazy coincidence... I just asked my brother and dad today for old dress shirts, because I had been wanting to experiment with them. I think this should definitely be a challenge!

i've really been wanting to make a sundress for this summer but i imagine that i'd have a LOT of trouble with darts and things... did you need darts for this pattern or was it made with a bunch of panels for the bodice?

Well, I have a little problem. I cut out the pattern pieces and just sew them together however I feel like it, so I'm not sure if the actual pattern needed darts. I used them, though!
