Ola!

I'm looking for a pattern for crochet (or knit) journal/book covers (aside from the silk sari one).  Anyone know of one?

Thanks!

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Help w/ Colour Change on: October 01, 2006 08:35:18 PM
Hi Everyone!

I'm knitting the Mission Falls Funky baby hat (or at least trying) and am a bit over my head.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial on changing colours within a row.  I'm not able to do it without the new colour 'draping' over the past few (no more than 3) stitches.

Thanks!
Tea

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Lace Sweater on: March 18, 2006 09:00:41 PM
I'd like to crochet something similar to this anthropologie sweater (yeah, another anthro thread):

Does anyone know of a pattern?

Also, I recently purchased a book on Irish Lace Crochet.  There are some lovely patterns in there but they are all bedspreads/tablecloths/doilies/etc.  Does anyone know how (or could direct me to a spot where) I could translate squares into a sweater or other garment?

Thanks of a million years!

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Baby Blankets on: September 11, 2004 10:23:44 AM
I'm going to be an aunt for the first time!

My brother is having a baby boy in October and I want to make a crocheted blanket. But I can't decide on a pattern! I'm putting waaaaay too much pressure on myself to make the perfect afghan.

Anyway, I want to make a nice baby blanket in sage green. That much I know. But I want to make something that's nice, yet simple, yet different, yet classic. No frills please!

So what's your favoritie afghan pattern? Suggestion welcome (lest I go crazy!)...
