Flat marbles - something different, yet! I have almost 2 dozen of these, and I wear them everywhere. I do the picture/marble thing, add stuff sticking out like the feathers, wires for beads, or just wires in the case of Mr. Flamingo, then covered the ugliness with handmade paper and glazed it; glued a 1/8" ribbon (went for polka dots this round, and some gold-thread cheapo trim from Walmart that looked cool) around the outer edge, secured it or tied it.  They're simply beatimous! I have more to scan; sorry, no good camera for closeups!
