I dont know if americans will know what GCSE's are- theyre basically end of school exams when you're 15-16. Sorry if thats obvious!.. What do you lot have?

Anyway, I digress. Heres some of my art work, based around anatomy, and the last photos are on architecture. Im really hoping to go to the Fashion university in London after my a levels.. what do you guys think of my stuff so far? Thanks!

Computer manipulation.. the central skull is basically a mix of a photo of a model skull and my friends face in profile... the middle circle is a detail on an old gravestone and the other stuff is a mixture of medieval drawings of hell and tombs near where I live. This was my final piece which I did in quill and ink..

I made the dress and coated it in paint, grit etc to look like the wall... the girl model is my friend...

I dont think this has been done before, thought it'd be pretty good.

swappers take a few photos of their room-- bedrooms would be good but any room would do-- and then partner makes items to go into/match that room, e.g. pillows, artwork etc...

What do you lot think??

I LOVE CHARMS! y'know, like cute little novelty things you can put on bracelets and stuff. wouldnt it be cool to make either like several charms or a charm bracelet for a partner et vice versa?? would be quite a small package too

this site gave me so many cool ideas for toys to make- he made and is still making a toy for every day of the year. i love the strangeness and randomness of some of his designs- and am quite tempted to make the "dont break the sewing machine!" toy!

Ok.. so im more than a little bit crazy over japanese fashion (sanrio, manga and things)... so i decided to make a t shirt that would show that. Unfortuneately im not great at drawing up cartoons and things (much better at still life) so i went onto www.elouai.com
the great thing is that you can make really REALLY cute dolls that show your style and arent copyrighted for personal use (thank god!)
so i printed out a few of my dolls and used image maker to print them onto t shirts- more than happy with the results!
just thought id share it with you!
 

well, yesterday i sat at home with some nice spotty ribbon and thread, and tried to make a corsage- you know- those fabric flower things you can pin to blazers and they look so pretty- anyway, to say the least it was a disaster and i ended up with a messy ball of ribbon! 

does anyone have a fool proof technique to make a slightly more successful corsage? i would be pleased to hear.

this idea may have been thought of before, but i think it would be cool to do a swap based on tokyo fashion- both things you have made and things you have bought and put in a box. Is anyone else interested? i would need some kind of organiser for it
