21  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / INFINITIE DRESS question. on: July 27, 2006 09:04:18 AM
so  i'm making an infinitie dress. cause i love them.
and i was wondering for everyone who made them - how long and how wide is the waistband?
the tut im following just says to make the waistband a bit longer than your waist. but 'how' much longer? and how wide?
anyones answers would be good Smiley

much love

very cool Smiley
what i did to distress one pair of my jeans was attack it with a nail file. i just scratched at it with the file until i saw it wear alittle (this took about...10 minutes. haha) in a small area, and just one area, cause i thought it didnt work since it didnt turn out the way i expeceted. BUT, a couple washes later and suddenly i have a hole about the size of a loonie if you stretched it out to be more vertical. i'm not sure if the hole will stop growing...but i still wear those pants. cool cool.
theres a whole ton of ideas in that "ways to make clothes feel/look vintage" post in the discussion board.
ANYWAYS THOUGH, that was my story Smiley
and i like your jeans,
and espicially how they fit haha even if you didnt make em, just the holes XP

much love

i've been trying to think of something forever to do with the sheets. at first they were gonna be a sundress, then a pleated skirt...and now they've been turned into this Smiley they'll probably be made into another bag though, too!
