does anyone have any information whatsover about ancient egyptain cuisine and/or recipies? all i know so far is: -pitas -hummus and thats basically all. i'm doing a project for class and would like to give samples to everyone in the class, so i'd like simple finger foods, but i would also appreciate any help/larger recipies. thanks
ooooh, i love reading some of these things...i'm from Canada, and i live in Nova Scotia, and I'm Acadian. - i think you should def. use Timmy's. They are EVERYWHERE. I mean it. - theres a ton of Acadian food, but I one I ate the most growing up was Chicken Fricot. It's kind of like a stew...and then theres boiled dinner, but I don't know if thats acadian or not...its just stuff like roast beef, carrots, patatoes and the like all boiled up together. I'm a vegetarian now, but when I wasnt, I liked it. Oh! and if you make Chicken Fricot, put a saltine cracker on the edge of the bowl, and leave it there for a couple seconds. then take it out and eat it. its soft and has the flavor of both the chicken fricot and the cracker! -ALSO, Just thought of this...what about baked maple beans?
AHAHA, wow that second one is great, i might do that one thanks ! i actually thought up two ideas though, one is just a guy waiting for his girlfriend at a restaurant in the waiting line - you know how boring those can be, right? but theres all these annoyances around him as he waits - screaming kids, snoring grandpa, etc... and the second one is just one about karma, a girl loses a twenty dollar bill in a store, some guy picks it up and does something bad or selfish with it like buy something for himself, and then it continues, and then it shows if he did it the "good" way, like donating it. lol. might sound lame, but i promise its not!
