v3nu5 - Thanks!! And I would try just colouring over it! This purple is really blueish, and looks royal blue under fluorescent lighting. I think if you have hot pink in your hair right now, it might make it a true purple.

loserchick88 - thanks so much! Smiley

dropoffradar - Thanks! I think you should go for some colour! Smiley You could try going red first, since it's more of a natural shade?

thanks!
actually I have pretty curly hair and hardly ever straighten it! I like to wear it curly better, because it breaks up the colours : )

Also, update to come in a bit with my puuuurple hair, I just finished a few minutes ago!

6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions About Hairstyles! on: June 29, 2010 04:06:07 PM
I have blonde hair that I dye almost black. After my last haircut, I dyed a few sections of it a very light blonde to add Manic Panic colours into it.

A few weeks ago, I went to my hairdresser's to get my roots done, and she dyed the hair around the blonde sections. However, when she rinsed out the dye, the dark washed into my blonde, turning it a muddy brown colour. I tried washing it out, and then last night tried using a colour stripper to take the brown colour out twice. After two processes, my hair is lighter but it is a very brassy yellow colour, and still not a very pale blonde.

How can I fix the brassy colour to return my hair back to its original colour?

Wow, thank you everyone Smiley

@InvisibleCastle: lace actually isn't very hard at all once you break it down into parts. I referenced the shapes from a shirt I have, and just figured out the pieces of the main shapes that got cross hatched, and then when those are filled in, I just connected them with loops!

thank you everyone Smiley

jan_on_ice and CarlieJoe:

I did use permanent art pens, and I think I will seal them with clear nail polish or something of the sort when I have time.

I wore them out to a concert last night and the only damage they suffered was some small smudging from me hitting them against each other, but nothing from stepping on concrete, in puddles, etc.

I recently bought a pair of wedges that had contrasting colours on the straps and the sole. I didn't like that there was no continuity between them, so I drew a lace pattern on the soles with gold and silver art pens. Smiley
