I really hope the tumble dryer works too, I am so proud of making something semi-wearable!

I love your hat in your avatar

I've finally finished mine! It's too big...I think I might try and tumble-dry it for a few minutes to see if I can shrink it a bit. I'm not that happy with it because of the massively giant size. In the pictures I've sort of gathered it together at the back so it doesn't look that big (if that makes sense). It was my first non-scarf/hat item Cheesy

ps: sorry for the bump but there are so many Tubeys going around here at the moment I didn't want to start a new thread.
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! And questions about hair styles! on: February 21, 2006 01:19:00 PM
myiaa i love ur hair its realy nice i was kinda wondering what hair dye you use cos u mentioned ud had it like that for years so it must be a pretty gd dye not to damage it  Smiley
Thank you Smiley I use La Rich Directions (the colours are Carnation Pink and Lilac), which I buy from the internet. I get my hair bleached at the hairdressers though, which is why it's stayed semi-healthy (I've had bad experiences of going crazy with cheap bleach and a chunk of hair coming out in my hairbrush, followed by months of Straw Head, haha, fun times).

I've had pink hair for nearly two years now. Sometime soon I will have to grow up. Anyway, I tryed the purple yesterday. I kinda like it.

I'm also growing my hair and it's in the frustrating stage where it feels like IT WILL NEVER GET ANY LONGER.

7  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Re: Hooded Skully Sweater! on: February 17, 2006 09:23:48 AM
That looks amazing. I love the hood! Was it hard to add the hood on? I really have been meaning to start one of my own, but I'm too afraid my attention span will just die after a week because it is 95% one colour. Yours looks amazing though, and your partner in the swap is so lucky! Grin

Those are so wonderful! I am going to make myself some of them.

I think you might have just divided with circumference of your waist by 4 and didn't work out the diameter or radius.  Tongue I'm trying to make one now and am in a big "ARGH first big sewing project" stress  Undecided
