1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / many colourful vinyl pouches! opinions? on: November 08, 2007 05:53:43 PM
Hi everyone,
So I decided to get a table in my first craft sale!  I bought a lot of vinyl. One of the things I'm selling are these makeup bag/pencil case/whatever pouches. So far I've made these 6 but I wanted some craftster opinions!

the set:

Questions
It's 10am-4pm (one day only) at a local school.  How many should I make? (I'm selling other things incl. vinyl small & large wallets, record bowls, kleenex pouches..my sister has jewellery).  Should I make an equal amt of each design? Oh and the big question: how much can I sell them for?? It costs me about 50 cents per zipper and maybe, 2.00 in fabric & vinyl.  Thanks for reading, & any suggestions/comments would be fantastic, thanks!! Smiley

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Wanting single pattern from *Winter 06/07* Knit.1 mag on: September 01, 2007 08:25:50 PM
Hey, I don't know if any of you can help me with this, but...
I love the Heart Earflap Hat from an older Knit.1 magazine
(pictured at http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=142943.0).  Since it's a back issue, how would I go about getting the pattern?  I've seen that issue on Ebay for about $10 after shipping, but I don't know if I want to go through that - I only really want the one pattern...
would it be legal for someone to message it to me somehow..
I don't know what I could do in return?  Huh

please help, all is appreciated.
thx <3
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / * lavender grad dress with bow* on: August 02, 2007 01:25:18 PM
hey everyone, first project post Smiley
this is the dress I made for my grad.  it was over a month ago, I just never got around to posting it!  I used McCall's 5382. The style is not something I normally would have done, but when I was flipping through pattern books it really caught my eye, and I ended up being really happy with it.
I finished it very last minute - as in sewing the straps to the front in the van on the way. oops.. Roll Eyes anyway!

this one shows the colour better.

thanks for looking! comments appreciated,
Heather <3

p.s. I got some random compliments from people saying they'd heard I'd made it, it was pretty awesome.
