Had to make this hat!  It rocks my world!  Nice quick knit.

                           

I just finished this last night.  What a great pattern for a first time lacing project.  It was a lot of fun.  I was going to give it away as a gift, but I think I might have to keep this one for myself.

   

I saw this post and had to start making this scarf!  I started last night and being a first time lace knitter AND  a first time chart reader, I started out a bit slow.  So I modified the chart a bit to make it easier to read (I kept looking at the wrong spots on the original).  Thought I would share it with you all since it sounds like I'm not the only one trying this out for the first time.

I really love this wrist warmer.  It was hard to get used to using such small needles and yarn (thread), but once I got the hang of it there wasn't any problems.  The color of the beads is more of a burgundy than a brown.  I think I will make many more of these for Christmas gifts.

                                         

Here is my first ever sweater.  I think it turned out O.K.  If I ever make it again, I will make it a bit longer.  It fits a bit funny because I am 5 1/2 months pregnant...so excuse where the bottom pulls a bit and the prego pants.  I think it will fit wonderfully next fall.  The second photo shows the colors more accurately.

I saw this little guy in the featured knitting projects and had to make him.  I was able to knit him up in just one session.  He was a birthday present so I only got to hold on to him for a day, but during that day I fell in love with him.  I put some wire in his ears to make them stand up a bit.  I think next time I make one (soon) I will knit with some super thin wire and put it in his arms and legs also.  I also put a rock in the bottom of him so that he can sit on things.
                               

Here is a photo showing the 2 pairs of Pippi Kneestockings I've made.  I LOVE  these socks!  I used alpaca so they are very good to wear in the cold winter days.
                 

My tote came out a bit smaller than I was hoping.  My gage must have been off.  It was my first felted project and I really enjoyed doing it.       
                                             

These socks are so soft!  I used a fingering weight 100% Alpaca yarn.  They are very quick and easy to knit, which is a big plus since baby will only fit in them for a short period of time.  My model is still in utero.
                         

This is the first toy that I have knitted.  I had so much fun knitting it that I expect I will soon have a room full of knitted toys. This pattern came from the book "knitting for baby."
